We are seeking Conservation Architect

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated Conservation Architects with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in heritage-related projects to join our well-established but growing and vibrant studio. Candidates will be able to:

  • Work on projects throughout all RIBA stages
  • Liaise directly with clients and contractors to ensure smooth delivery of the project
  • Develop detailed design programmes
  • Work as a team with junior staff to develop proposals, reporting regularly to Associates/Directors

Applicants should have:

  • ARB registration
  • Either Accreditation in Conservation Architecture from a UK-recognised body, or an interest in applying for Accreditation within 3 years
  • Strong job running skills (contract administration, planning and programming)
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Experience liaising with clients and relevant stakeholders is desired
  • Experience with Scottish Planning and Building control systems desirable
  • Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Excellent design skills
  • Sound technical knowledge and ability to undertake technical detailing to compile necessary documents for heritage-related projects
  • Clean UK driving licence

Salary is dependent on experience and candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
