Kirsty Watt and Charlie Porter’s Architecture Fringe 2023 event: Unseen At Night

30.05.2023

GRAS Architects, Charlie Porter and Kirsty Watt, alongside Urban Planner Millie Powell, are hosting an exhibition as part of Architecture Fringe 2023 titled Unseen At Night.

Unseen At Night demonstrates the opportunities of queer, feminine and femme* night spaces that encompass the principles upon which queer communities are centred, facilitating a collaboration of queer and femme designers within Scotland to do so. The pieces initiate dialogue on what inclusive, safe and accessible queer, feminine and femme spaces can be both in their physicality and in their experience through a collaboration with Femmergy, a queer femme club night in Edinburgh.

The exhibition will be held at Custom Lane from 16th June – 18th June 2023 in the gallery space, and prints of pieces along with an accompanying can be pre-ordered on the HerCollective website during and after the exhibition period.

*Note: Femme is used to express any gender identity that has an awareness of femininity and feminine experiences.
