Advanced Conservation accreditation: Congratulations to Zoë Alston!

30.05.2024

Congratulations to Zoë on achieving Advanced level of Conservation Accreditation! Her dedication, expertise, and focus on the intersection of sustainability and architectural conservation have significantly influenced many of GRAS’s projects.

Since joining GRAS and qualifying 20 years ago, Zoë has worked on award-winning projects ranging from the conservation of scheduled ancient monuments to the adaptation of listed buildings and the construction of new buildings in sensitive historic settings.

Since assuming the role of director at GRAS in 2021, Zoë has played a significant role in cultivating a practice-wide discourse centered on sustainability within the built environment, ensuring that principles of environmental responsibility are deeply ingrained in GRAS’s projects and ethos.
