“A Place in Scotland:” Celebrating heritage, design and craftsmanship

04.12.2024

What does it mean to create a place in Scotland? It means honouring the layers of heritage that define its identity while threading them seamlessly into contemporary design. It is about crafting spaces that resonate deeply—physically, culturally, and emotionally.

We are honoured to see four GRAS projects featured in A Place in Scotland, a beautifully curated celebration of Scottish interiors and architecture. Among them are our collaborations with Wildland including Lundies House, Kinloch Lodge and Kyle House, as well as the meticulous restoration of Lamb’s House. These works reflect our belief in creating places and objects that inspire care, connection, and love.

We invite you to join us tonight at Bard for an intimate evening by candlelight with authors Banjo Beale and Alexander Baxter. Enjoy drinks and an atmosphere that celebrates the enduring beauty of Scottish design and craftsmanship, offering a moment to reflect on the art of place-making and its connection to heritage and innovation. Spaces are limited, and reservations can be made via the link here.
